The fund’s portfolio includes properties such as Ballina Beach Resort, Tuross Beach, Stewarts Bay Lodge, Barclay Motor Inn, The Gateway Motel, Yamba Motor Inn, and Central Court Motel. Offers half-yearly income distributions with a consistent distribution history and steady growth exceeding 10% p.a.

About the Fund Manager
Defender AM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vertua Limited, the NSX listed company, which focuses on property and professional services. Its platform allows specialist managers to focus on the active management of the underlying assets. Defender looks after the licensing and compliance aspect of fund administration.
James Manning
Director and Responsible Manager
Leads the compliance and management efforts at Defender AM. With a strong foundation in finance and accounting, James holds qualifications in B.Bus (Accounting) and M.Bus (Finance). Additionally, he holds leadership positions in Vertua Limited and Mawson Infrastructure, demonstrating his multifaceted experience and capabilities.
Nick Hughes Jones
Director and Responsible Manager
Nick directs the investment management strategy for Defender Capital’s main funds and leads the formulation and execution of the investment process. With 12 years of experience, he previously managed over $500 million for family offices and high-net-worth individuals at Bell Potter Securities and Southern Cross Equities, prestigious firms in Australia.

We are focused on the acquisition of tourism and hospitality assets. The Fund seeks to acquire both passive investments as well as actively managed businesses. By improving systems and focusing on overall returns we add value to the business and underlying property
